I’m an applied, community-engaged human-centered design researcher and assistant professor whose work sits at the intersection of gerontology, technology, and care. I build and evaluate trustworthy AI, robotics, and digital health systems for older adults and people with disabilities, with a focus on real-world adoption: trust, ethics, accessibility, caregiver support, and long-term use in homes, communities, and care settings. My goal is to translate research into practical tools, community partnerships, and scalable interventions that reduce disparities and improve quality of life for diverse aging populations.
